Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Equivitech LLC ("Equivitech," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. It covers equivitech.com only, not any engagement or work performed once you become a client, which is governed by the terms of that engagement.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us. The only place this website gathers personal information is the contact form, which asks for your name, email address, company, and whatever you write in the message field. We don't require any of this to browse the site.
This site does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts as of the date above. If that changes, for example if we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool, we'll update this policy to describe what's collected and, where required, ask for your consent first.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your inquiry and have a conversation about whether we can help;
- Keep basic business records of prospective and current client communications; and
- Comply with legal obligations, if any apply.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service that delivers your message to our inbox. We don't operate a server of our own for this site, so this is the one processor your information passes through. We don't share your information with anyone else except where required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably useful for the purposes above, typically no more than a few years, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or business record-keeping reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing scott.harris@equivitech.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're located somewhere with a specific privacy law that gives you additional rights (for example, a right to a portable copy of your data), tell us in your request and we'll honor it to the extent it applies.
Children
This site is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through this site, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please don't send highly sensitive information (such as passwords, financial account numbers, or Social Security numbers) through the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site collects or handles information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
